StreetQ · TRUST & TRANSPARENCY

Terms of use

Use StreetQ to document public-space conditions honestly and help improve your neighborhood. These launch terms describe the service and the responsibilities of contributors.

The service

Scores are estimates based on available observations and may be stale, incomplete, or disputed. They are not government inspections, safety ratings, verified violations, or claims about the character of residents or businesses. Do not rely on them as your sole basis for important decisions.

Your contributions

You must have rights to submit photographs and information. By submitting, you permit StreetQ to store, process, moderate, and display that material to operate the platform. You retain ownership; this permission is not a blanket license for unrelated third-party reuse. You are responsible for truthful observations taken lawfully from public or otherwise authorized vantage points.

Accounts and moderation

Keep account access secure. Fabricated submissions, harassment, discriminatory content, and attempts to manipulate scores may be rejected and accounts restricted. We may remove content to address privacy, integrity, or operational concerns. You may request a review of a score or report.

Cleaning contributions

Real contributions use monthly recurring Stripe Checkout. The checkout shows the amount and recurring interval before payment. Manage or cancel through the billing portal. Contributions are not represented as tax-deductible donations. Funding does not guarantee a particular score, cleaning schedule, or service outcome; the coalition operator must confirm delivery arrangements. Demo interactions do not charge or record pledges.

Availability and changes

The platform is provided on an as-available basis, subject to applicable law. Features, sources, and scoring methods may change as evidence and coverage improve. These terms do not exclude rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
